Each mug is hand-built, pinched thoughtfully and securely. Food and dishwasher safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it while listening to Björk on full volume in the kitchen. It is not microwave safe. This mug holds about 16 ounces of coffee, tea, or brandy. It is a big mug.
